So we’re into the last 16 matches and here at Free Tennis Betting Tips we’re again looking to try and sniff out value.

In the four men’s singles matches, there are four very clear favourites in Rafael Nadal, Tomas Berdych, Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro. None makes outright appeal at short odds, but there does seem to be a feeling that Federer could really give a tired Bernard Tomic, who seems in awe of him, a hard time. If you do fancy a bet on the men’s matches, Federer is a sporting -7.5 games at 2.00 with Paddy Power, but we won’t be investing.

The women’s singles contests appear tighter, and we think there’s a decent handicap bet in the match with Caroline Wozniacki and Jelena Jankovic. Jankovic has not dropped a set yet, and could be ripe to give the Dane a game here. The world number one is making adjustment to her game, and could be a little vulnerable. Jankovic does have a decent record against her opponent on hard courts, and throw in Wozniacki’s writ issues we think she can at least cover the handicap here.
