So here are our opinions at Free Tennis Betting Tips as to the Wimbledon men’s singles winner. We’ll give you detailed picks for matches for every day of SW19, and we’re looking forward to watching how the fortnight unfolds from Isner-Mahut to any major upsets.
However, we have to say any surprises in the men’s event look hugely unlikely, with the big 4 of Nadal, Djokovic, Federer and Murray seemingly a level ahead of the rest of the field. They have,by and large, proved that in the Australian Open and the Masters Series, bar Murray’s brief American wobble.
Nadal has perhaps the trickiest route to the last four, as he potentially has the giant serving Milos Raonic and Juan Martin Del Potro in weight. Del Po’s form at Queen’s was a concern though and he may simply be too big to reach down comfortably on grass. The second quarter has no real concerns for Andy Murray, who looks good for the last eight and a re-match with Andy Roddick.
Roger Federer is in quarter three and he might face David Nalbandian. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is his most likely last eight opponent. Djokovic, like Federer, hasn’t played since the French Open, but he shouldn’t have too many major obstacles par the possible presence of Kevin Anderson in Round Two.
So it’s down to the final four: Murray really could defeat a tired looking Nadal and Djokovic, with his current athleticism, movement and improvements on return, can master Federer here in revenge for his French Open defeat. In short, Djokovic is our pick here.
